Swipe Delete is designed with privacy as a foundational principle. Because your photos represent some of your most personal and sensitive data, the Swipe Delete app operates under a strict offline-first, zero-data-collection architecture. We do not want, collect, or store your photos or personal details.

2. Data Collection & Transmission

Zero External Storage: Swipe Delete does not collect, upload, transmit, or store any personal data, images, metadata, or usage analytics to external servers. All information handled by the app remains exclusively on your device.

No Third-Party Telemetry: The app contains no third-party tracking software, advertising libraries, or telemetry SDKs. Your app interactions remain entirely confidential.

3. Local Permissions & Usage

Swipe Delete requires specific permissions on your iOS device to perform its core functions:

  • Photo Library Access: Required to scan, index, and load local photos and videos so you can review them. This access is also required to perform deletions at your explicit request.

All operations resulting from these permissions are performed locally in real time. Deletion actions always prompt for native iOS system verification before any media is permanently moved to your system's "Recently Deleted" album.

4. Data Security

Because the app does not transmit data over the network, your information is protected by the built-in hardware and software security of your Apple device (such as passcode locks, Face ID/Touch ID, and file system encryption). We recommend keeping your device's operating system updated to ensure the latest security patches are applied.

5. Changes to This Policy

As Swipe Delete is an open-source project, future changes to the application's source code will always be publicly reviewable. Any modifications to this Privacy Policy will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
